🎮 How to Play

Requirements

A Commodore 64 emulator (recommended: VICE)

Basic Controls

1. Launch the game on your emulator or C64 hardware.

2. Use a joystick in port 2 to navigate the menu.

3. Move left or right to switch between available actions.

4. Press the FIRE button to confirm your selection.

 Game Objective

Manage your resources: money, fuel, bait, and fishing line.

Travel to different fishing spots — lake, river, or sea.

Catch fish and sell them to increase your funds.

Avoid running out of essential supplies. Balance is the key!

Fishing Mechanics

Each fishing session begins by randomly selecting a fish with a specific strength value.

You’ll roll a virtual die (handled by the game).

If the result is equal or higher than the fish’s strength, you catch it.

If the roll is lower, the tension on the line increases.

If the tension exceeds the limit, your line may break and the fish escapes!

 Resume Your Game Anytime

At the end of your session, a password/code will be displayed.
Write it down and use it the next time you launch the game to continue right where you left off — no progress lost.
